Thai Massage

Yesterday, I thought I'd treat myself to a Thai massage. I came to a few conclusions during it.

Thai massage is basically yoga for really lazy people. And I mean really lazy. There's no oil or long, kneading strokes up and down your back to rid your body of its tension in a soothing, relaxing way. Instead, you get manhandled into various stretches and yanked until your joints pop like they've never popped before. Bear in mind that it's completely awesome and I came out feeling like I had actually done yoga, but it occurred to me how awesome it would be if other forms of exercise could be completed in this manner.

How about if I just lay on my stomach with my face against a pillow, and some small Thai woman bounces my body around until I've pretty much done calisthenics? No? How about if they hold my body up and throw my limbs at a punching bag while I hang there like a rag doll...it'd pretty much be the same as kickboxing. I think more thought needs to be given to this form of secondhand exercise. Maybe I'll invest.
